Kodak OEM films

Kodak is one of the most recognizable names in the world of photography. The company was founded in 1888 by George Eastman and has since become synonymous with the photographic industry. Kodak is known for producing some of the world’s most popular film stocks, which include the iconic Kodachrome and Tri-X films.

An interesting aspect of Kodak’s history is the practice of producing film stock that was sold by other companies under their own brand names. This was a common practice in the film industry and was referred to as “private labeling.” Private labeling allowed other companies to sell film under their own brand names without having to invest in their own production facilities.

Kodak was a major player in the private labeling market, producing film stock for a variety of other companies. Among the best-known private labels were Agfa, Ilford, and Fuji. Kodak also produced film stock for a number of smaller, less well-known brands.
