Background to the brand

Flic Film is a brand from the small town of Longview in Alberta, Canada. The Elektra 100 is based on the Kodak Aerocolor IV color negative film.

Information and areas of application

The Kodak Aerocolor IV is a medium-fast film with fine grain, excellent sharpness and true-to-life color reproduction. It is suitable for a wide variety of applications in aerial and reconnaissance photography.

These include geological, environmental, archaeological, agricultural and forestry studies, traffic control, urban planning, railway, road and hydraulic engineering, oceanography and remote sensing, as well as other areas where photogrammetry is used.

In the form of Flic Film, the film can also be used for various photographic applications.

Formats and cameras

The film is offered in 35 mm format with 36 images and can be used in most analog cameras that support this format. It should be noted that this film is prone to light piping, i.e. the light travels along the film strip and exposes the first three images. Therefore, the film should be loaded in very low light.
