The Iron Bridge 400D is a color negative film. It will be sold online in 2024.
The film material in the 35mm film cartridge comes from the renowned manufacturer Kodak and not from Iron Bridge. Specifically, it is the Kodak VISION3 250D, a high-quality film material that was originally developed for professional cinema film production.
The special repackaging in 35mm cartridges also makes this exceptional material accessible for use in conventional 35mm cameras, making it interesting for both photography enthusiasts and experimental artists.
Normally, the Kodak VISION3 250D requires the ECN-2 development process, which is common in the film industry. In the Iron Bridge 400D, on the other hand, the Remjet layer, a special protective coating, has been carefully removed. This makes it possible to develop it in the standardized C-41 process, which is widely used and used in almost all photo labs.
This makes handling much easier and makes the film material particularly attractive for amateur photographers who do not have access to special development processes but still want to use the characteristic colors and impressive dynamics of this film.
