The Sunbath 200T is a color film for analog cameras. It is offered by the Sunbath Film-Lab from Paris. In 2024, it can be purchased in the French photo lab’s online shop for 13.50 euros. The material is produced by Kodak.
Kodak sells cinema films in large rolls that are normally intended for film cameras. In order to make the material usable for 35mm cameras, it is rewound onto cartridges in 35mm format.
The film has a sensitivity of ISO 50 and is optimized for artificial light photography. It is designed for a light temperature of 3200 Kelvin.
Development process
The Sunbath Film-Lab 200T is designed for the ECN-2 process, which differs from the C-41 process used for commercially available color negative films.
An important feature of the ECN-2 material is a special protective layer developed for use in motion picture cameras.
If the film is instead developed using the C-41 process, this protective layer can damage the chemicals and render the solution unusable.
