Since 2017, the Impossible Project films have been sold under the Polaroid Originals brand. Meanwhile, an arrangement has been made on the use of the “Polaroid” brand and the films will be offered without the “Originals” addition.
Formats
The four most common formats for Polaroid Originals instant cameras are 600, SX-70, Spectra, and I-Type.
600 films
These films can be used in the old Polaroid 600 cameras. It is also possible to use in the I-Type cameras and SX-70 cameras with an ND filter.
SX-70 films
These films can be used in the old Polaroid SX-70 cameras. This includes the Polaroid 1000 as well.
Spectra films
These films can be used for models in the Spectra or Image series.
I-Type films
These films can only be used in the new Polaroid Originals instant cameras. They are the same size as the 600 and SX-70 films, but lack the battery in the film cassette.
With all film formats, there are eight frames in a film cassette. Ten frames used to be the standard. Therefore, be sure to change the film as soon as you reach “2” in the frame counter.
