The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type film Summer Blues Edition is an instant film. It is a limited special edition. It was introduced in summer 2019.
The normal version is the Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Film. The responsibility for the production of the film lies with Polaroid Originals in the Netherlands.
The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type film Summer Blues Edition is intended for the i-Type format. The instant image format was developed by The Impossible Project and has the same dimensions as the Polaroid 600 format. The dimensions of a picture are 8.8 x 10.7 cm. On this surface the photographed motif (7.9 x 7.9 cm) and the frame are distributed. The frame of each picture is printed with a blue gradient of varying intensity.
When the image leaves the camera, it is transported by two rollers. These ensure that the developing chemistry is distributed over the image. According to the manufacturer, the development process takes ten to fifteen minutes.
Film format
Instant film can be used in all models of the I-Type series. These include the Polaroid Originals OneStep 2 and the Impossible Instant Lab. In the old Polaroid cameras this film can be used not.
The instant images are stored in a cassette. The cassette is pushed into the camera as a whole. One box of the instant film is enough for 8 frames.
