Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Film

The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type film is an instant film. The responsibility for the production of the film lies with Polaroid Originals in the Netherlands. Besides the color film, there is also a black and white film for the i-Type format (Polaroid B&W Film for i-Type*).

The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type film is intended for the i-Type instant image format. This film format was developed by The Impossible Project. An instant image with the film has a size of 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The actual image is 7.9 x 7.9 cm and surrounded by a frame. The frames around the images are white in this film. But there are limited special editions where the frames are printed in different colors or with motifs.

Development begins automatically after the picture is ejected. You have to calculate about 15 minutes for the developing time.

Film format

The film can be used in models for the i-Type format. These include the Polaroid Originals OneStep 2 and the Impossible Instant Lab.

The images are stored in the so-called film cassette. Unlike with 600 film, there is no battery in the film cassette. Therefore, you can also use the film not in the Polaroid 600 cameras. One pack of the film is sufficient for 8 frames.
