The Polaroid Originals Color Film for 600 Color Frames Edition is an instant film. It is a Special Edition. The “original” is the Polaroid Originals Color Film for 600, and the film is produced in the Netherlands.
The Polaroid Originals Color Film for 600 Color Frames Edition is designed for the type 600 instant format. The film format was created as a successor to the SX-70 film format in the 1980s.
One image measures 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The captured image is surrounded by a frame. The frames in this edition are not white, but in different bright colors.
After photographing, the picture is thrown out of the camera and on the blank surface slowly appears the captured image. After about 15 minutes, the image is ready to be developed.
Film format
To expose the instant film, you need a Polaroid 600 instant cameras. The unexposed instant pictures are in a special film cassette. The black cassette is slid into the camera and also contains the battery for the camera. Eight exposures can be made with one pack of the film. The unexposed film should be stored at 5-10 degrees Celsius in a dry place. Preferably, this place should be in the dark.
New version
There is now a new version of the film. This film delivers similar results. The biggest innovation is that the film is only offered with the “Polaroid” brand and the addition “Originals” is omitted.
