The Polaroid Go Color Film Powder Blue Frame is an instant film. It is a variant of the Polaroid Go Color Film. It was presented to the public in 2024. In the official Polaroid shop, the film was sold for around 20 euros per pack.
Information about instant film
The Polaroid Go Color Film is a specially developed instant film that is characterized by its compact size and compatibility with the Polaroid Go camera. It represents Polaroid’s advanced chemistry and is manufactured in the last remaining Polaroid film factory.
Technical specifications
The film delivers 16 color images per pack, each with Polaroid’s signature frame. It is battery-free and has an ASA sensitivity of 640. The 16 images are divided into film cassettes with eight images each. So once the eight pictures have been taken, you have to put a new cassette in the instant camera.
The images have a format of 66.6mm x 53.9mm, with the actual image area being 47mm x 46mm. The frame on this edition is not white, but rather they are sky blue.
Compatible cameras
A key aspect of Polaroid Go Color Film is its exclusive compatibility with the Polaroid Go camera. This camera is specifically designed for this film format and offers seamless integration. The film is not compatible with older Polaroid models or Fujifilm Instax Mini cameras.
Development process
After taking a picture, the film is automatically ejected from the camera. Development begins immediately and lasts about 10 to 15 minutes. During this time, the film should be protected from light and not bent or shaken. The images initially appear blank and gradually develop into their final appearance.
