The Polaroid Originals Color Film for 600 is an instant film. The material for the film is manufactured by Polaroid Originals in the Netherlands. It is the company’s current color film.
The Polaroid Originals Color Film for 600 is designed for the old Polaroid 600 cameras. The Polaroid film format originated in the 1980s. 8.8 x 10.7 cm are the dimensions of one of the pictures with the film. The captured image is surrounded by a frame. This is white in this version. However, there are some special editions with colorful or printed frames.
After the image is exposed, the camera ejects the image and the developing process begins. The duration to the finished image is specified by the manufacturer as 10-15 minutes.
Film format
The film is designed for use in one of the Polaroid 600 cameras. However, it can also be used with the Polaroid Originals / Impossible I-Type cameras. The pictures are in the so-called film cassette. In addition to the images, a battery is also included in the cassette. In one pack of the film there are exactly eight unexposed instant pictures. For storage, you should prefer a cool and dry place.
New version
There is now a new version of the film. In this edition the addition “Originals” was omitted and they are only sold as “Polaroid” films.
