The Polaroid Originals Color Film for 600 Metallic Red Frame Edition is an instant film. It is a special variant of the Polaroid Originals Color Film for 600. Polaroid Originals in the Netherlands is responsible for the production.
The color film is intended for the Type 600 instant format. The Type 600 format was introduced by Polaroid in 1981. The size of an instant picture is 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The captured image is square and surrounded by a frame. As the name suggests, the frames on this edition are a metallic red.
Immediately after you have taken the picture, the camera transports through two rollers to the daylight, thereby the development chemistry is distributed over the image. During the development you can only wait. The development time is about 10 to 15 minutes.
Film format
The instant film can be exposed in all Polaroid 600 cameras. However, it can also be used in the OneStep 2 and the OneStep+. The unexposed images are in a film cassette that is slid into the camera. Next to the pictures there is a battery in the cassette. 8 pictures are in a box.
