The Polaroid B&W Film for 600 Monochrome Frames is an instant film from Polaroid. It is manufactured in the Netherlands by the Polaroid successors. It is a limited version of the Polaroid black and white film for the 600 format.

The frames in this version are not simply white, but in monochrome shades.

The Polaroid B&W 600 Film – Monochrome Frames is a black and white instant film specially developed for creative photographers. It features an improved chemical composition that ensures richer details, lighter contrast and greater reliability.

The film is ideal for portraits, landscapes, street photography, still life and experimental shots. Thanks to its versatility, photographers can let their creativity run wild and create unique black and white images.

Formats and cameras

The Polaroid B&W 600 Film – Monochrome Frames is offered in the classic Polaroid 600 format. The images are 107mm x 88mm in size, while the image area is 79mm x 79mm.

The film is compatible with various Polaroid cameras, including the old Polaroid 600 models, Polaroid Now, Polaroid Now+, Polaroid Lab, OneStep 2 and OneStep+. This compatibility allows photographers to use their preferred camera while taking advantage of the unique properties of black and white film.

Development

Polaroid film develops itself within 5-10 minutes of exposure. The development process is based on a chemical reaction that is triggered by ejecting the image from the camera.

After development, the images can be digitized by photographing them with a scanner or camera. Digitization allows photographers to further edit, share and archive their black and white images.

Storage of the film

For optimal storage of Polaroid instant film, it should be kept in a cool, dry place. Direct sunlight and high temperatures should be avoided as they can affect the quality of the film.

It is recommended that the film be stored in its original packaging or in a light-tight container. Storage in the refrigerator is possible, but the film should be brought to room temperature before use.
