The Polaroid Go Color Film Purple Haze Frame, a special version of the Polaroid Go Color Film, is an instant film that was available from the official Polaroid shop for approximately €22 per pack.
Info about the instant film
The Polaroid Go Color Film is a compact instant film specially developed for the Polaroid Go camera. It is based on Polaroid’s advanced chemistry and is manufactured in the last remaining Polaroid film factory.
Technical Specifications
One pack of the Polaroid Go Color Film Purple Haze Frame Edition contains 16 color images with the signature Polaroid frame. The film is battery-free and has an ASA sensitivity of 640. The 16 images are divided into two film cassettes of eight images each. After the first cassette is used up, a new one must be inserted into the camera.
The images measure 66.6 mm x 53.9 mm, with the actual image area measuring 47 mm x 46 mm. This edition features a purple frame instead of the usual white.
Compatible Cameras
Polaroid Go Color Film is only compatible with the Polaroid Go camera, which was specifically designed for this film format. It does not work with older Polaroid models or Fujifilm Instax Mini cameras.
Development Process
After the shutter is released, the image is automatically ejected from the camera. Development begins immediately and takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes. During this time, the film should be protected from light and not bent or shaken. The images will initially appear blank and will develop gradually.
