The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Film Black Frame Edition is an instant film. It’s a special edition. The original is the Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Film. The responsibility for the production of the films is Polaroid Originals in the Netherlands.
The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type film Black Frame Edition is designed for modern Polaroid i-Type cameras. The film format developed by The Impossible Project is based on the 600 film format. It dispenses the format’s built-in battery.
An instant picture with the film has a size of 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The actual image taken is square and surrounded by a frame. In this edition the frames are black.
After the image is ejected, the development begins. From the ejection of the image, it takes about 10 minutes to the finished image.
Film format
The films can be used in all Polaroid i-Type cameras. An example is the Polaroid OneStep 2, but this film cannot be used in the old Polaroid cameras. The individual frames are stored in a film cassette. With one cassette you can take 8 pictures.
