The Polaroid Originals Color i-Type Film Rose Gold Frame Edition is a color film for the I-Type format. The instant image format was launched by The Impossible Project. The finished instant image has a size of 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The captured image is square and surrounded by a frame. This frame is in metallic rose gold in this limited version.
The development of the image begins after the image is ejected. From this point on, it takes about ten to fifteen minutes to complete the picture.
Availability and Alternatives
Instant film can be used in all models of the I-Type series. The individual images are stored in a special cassette. There is no battery in this cassette, so it cannot be used in the old Polaroid cameras. These cameras need the built-in power source. In cameras like the Polaroid Originals OneStep 2, the battery is inside the camera.
In one pack of film there are exactly eight unexposed instant images.
The manufacturer of the film has finished the production of this edition. The Polaroid Color Film for i-Type* is a possible alternative, but the frames on this film are white.
