The Washi G 80 is a black and white film. It is offered by Film Washi.
The material for the “G” was actually produced for medical purposes. The X-ray film is emulsified on both sides and has no antihalation layer, thus a special characteristic is achieved.
The Washi G has a sensitivity of ISO 80 and is characterized by a very low contrast and moderate grain. It is cast on a blue polyester base and should be handled with care. The spectral sensitivity goes up to a maximum of 550 nm.
The Washi G 80 is only available for large format cameras. The black and white film can be purchased in 4×5″, 5×7″ and 8×10″ sizes. Other sizes are also available upon request.
