The Washi S 50 is a black and white film. The material on which the film is based was actually used for sound recording in the production of motion pictures. The French company Film Washi also offers it to photographers.
The Washi S 50 has orthochromatic sensitization and, according to the manufacturer, is characterized by its high resolution and fine grain. It has a spectral sensitivity up to 620nm and should be exposed between ISO 12 and ISO 50.
The Washi S 50 is currently only available for 35mm cameras. The cartridges are not DX coded.
It must be developed in a suitable black and white developer.

Calculation of the development solution
How much development solution do you need?
If the desired developer is not in the list, the Washi S (exposed to ISO 40) can also be developed according to the development times of the Kodak TRI-X exposed to ISO 400.
Sample photos
The film was exposed to ISO 50 in a Canon AE-1 with a 50 mm f/1.8 lens. Developed in Rodinal at a dilution of 1+100 for 60 minutes (still development).
