  • Manufacturer Halina
  • Type Snapshot camera
  • Type of Film 35mm
  • Max Aperture -
  • Focus Fixed focus

The Halina Vision C XMS is a compact photo camera, ideal for quick pictures. It was made by Haking, a Hong Kong company.

It has a permanently installed 35mm lens. While the exact focal length of the lens is not specified, it is believed to be between 28mm and 35mm. An autofocus system is not integrated in this model. The distance is fixed. A sliding flap ensures that the lens is protected from external elements.

Equipped with an exposure meter, the Halina Vision C XMS automatically adjusts the film exposure based on the film cartridge code. All technical functions, such as aperture and exposure time, are set automatically, so that no manual adjustments are necessary.

Of course, there is also an integrated flash. A special mode for reducing "red eyes" is also integrated. The flash can be activated via a slide switch.

The device works with one CR123A battery (eBay / Amazon*), although rechargeable versions are also suitable.

Films for the Halina Vision C XMS

According to the manual, the Halina Vision C XMS uses 35mm film. These films are still available from various suppliers and can be processed.

Recommended films for the Halina Vision C XMS that are currently available are the Kodak Ultramax 400* for color shots and the Ilford Delta 400* for black and white images. But there are also many other manufacturers such as Lomography, Fujifilm, Rollei, Adox and Foma.

Most photo studios are well equipped for the development of color films processed using the C-41 process. Many drugstores also offer development services.

The point-and-shoot camera negatives measure 24mm x 36mm. A motorized film transport ensures that the film is advanced after each shot. A counter on the top shows the number of shots taken.

After the end of the film is reached, it is automatically rewound into the cassette. Before the film is rewound, the back of the camera should never be opened. Accidental exposure to light can damage the film or destroy recordings already made.
