The AgfaPhoto APX 400 New is a black and white film. It is a new version of the AgfaPhoto APX 400 and was reissued in the summer of 2013 after being unavailable for a long time.
It is no longer manufactured by Agfa, so you should not expect the same results as with the old APX 400. EU (Made in EU) is indicated as the country of manufacture. You can tell if you are holding the new or old film by the “New Emulsion” imprint.
The sensitivity is specified as ISO 400, which means it is also suitable for shooting in lower light or unfavorable lighting conditions. According to the manufacturer, it should also be able to be pushed up to ISO 800.
It is also advertised as having good sharpness and fine grain. In addition, there is a large exposure latitude.
It has to be developed in a black and white developer. It is not intended for development in C-41.
The AgfaPhoto APX 400 New is only available in 35mm film with 36 frames.
