The Agfa APX 400 is a black and white film. With a sensitivity of ISO 400, the panchromatic film is well suited for unfavorable lighting conditions. It can also be pushed well by one aperture, to ISO 800.
It is developed normally in a black and white developer. A possible developer could be Rodinal. Rodinal delivers reliable results and is especially suitable for beginners.
Production of the film has been discontinued. It was also sold by under the name Rollei Retro 400. Remaining stocks of 35mm film were brought to the people by AgfaPhoto (red sensor dot) after the Agfa insolvency.
