The Walgreens W Photo 200 is a color negative film. It comes from the range of the US company Walgreens. Walgreens operates a pharmacy and drugstore chain with an extensive presence in the United States. Films from another manufacturer were sold under the trade name W Photo.

W Photo 200 is designed for color photography. ISO 200 represents the specified value for the film’s sensitivity. By default, the ISO value defines the light sensitivity of the film material. Here, the ISO value provides information about the reaction of the film material to light.

Film processing

The film is subject to C-41 processing. Processing can be done in a photo lab, but home development with suitable chemistry is also possible. One advantage of this development method is that it is independent of the laboratory, since a standardized process always produces identical results.
