The Impossible Project PX 680 Color Shade Cool

The PX 680 Color Shade Cool is an instant film. This instant film from The Impossible Project was presented in April 2012 in the “Cool Line”. The silver box contains the latest version of the PX 680 Color Shade from Impossible, the manufacturer of this instant film.

The PX 680 Cool conjures up very special colors with an extraordinary look on the 7.9 x 7.9 cm image.

The instant film is suitable for Polaroid 600 cameras. If you want, it can also be used in a Polaroid SX-70. For this, however, an ND filter is necessary.

Before use, the film should be stored at 5-10°C in the refrigerator. Storage in the freezer is not advisable.

Since this instant film has a slightly higher sensitivity the light/dark wheel should be turned about 1/3 to the dark setting. This way you get nice results and can enjoy the pictures.

After shooting, the film should be protected from light immediately, as it is still very sensitive to light after exposure.

Eight pictures are included in one pack of the PX 680 Color Shade Cool. The flash and camera are powered from a battery built into the film pack.

This film has since been replaced with a new one. The latest generation of color film for this format is the Polaroid Color Film for 600*.
