The PX 680 Color Shade First Flush is an instant film from The Impossible Project. It is the first color film for Polaroid 600 from the successors of Polaroid. The First Flush is the first version of the PX 680 Color Shade. With it, color photos are finally possible again with the old Polaroid 600 cameras.
The PX 680 Color Shade First Flush has a completely new formula for unique instant photos, which in its characteristics strongly remind of the legendary Polaroid 600 and TZ Artistic Film. Because this is the first version of the material, variations in contrast, saturation and color are possible. A bright dot pattern may form in the dark areas of the images.
Since it is still quite sensitive to light after the film is ejected from the camera, it should be protected from light. The development time, during which the film should ideally also be protected from light, is about 10 minutes at a temperature of 21 degrees.
The PX 680 Color Shade First Flush can also be used in Polaroid SX-70 camera with ND filter. One pack contains eight images.
Update
The PX 680 Color Shade First Flush is no longer manufactured. As an alternative, you can use the Polaroid Color Film for 600*. It is the most current film for the 600 format and much better than its predecessors.
