The PX 100 Silver Shade Cool is a black and white instant film. It was introduced in Impossible’s “Cool Line” in April 2012. It contains the latest version of the PX 100 Silver Shade at the time of its presentation. It is produced by The Impossible Project in the Netherlands. It can be used to create sharp black and white images.

This instant film is intended for use in Polaroid SX-70 cameras.

The unopened box of PX 100 Silver Shade Cool should be stored in the refrigerator at 5-10°C. Storage in the freezer, i.e. freezing the film, is not recommended. It is very important to protect the film from light immediately after ejection, as it is still very sensitive to light at this time.

There are eight images in a pack of PX 100 Silver Shade Cool. The image area of each image is 7.9 by 7.9 cm. In total, the instant picture is 8.8 by 10.7 cm. A battery for the camera and flash is already installed in the film pack.

Update

The PX 100 Silver Shade Cool is no longer in production. The most current black and white film from Impossible is currently the Polaroid B&W Film for SX-70*, which should be used instead.
