The PX 600 Silver Shade Cool is a black and white instant film. It is part of The Impossible Project’s “Cool Line” and was presented in spring 2012. The introductory price, as with all films in the “Cool Line,” was 20 euros.
The PX 600 Silver Shade Cool is the latest version of the PX 600 Silver Shade at this time, April 2012. It is produced in the Netherlands by Impossible, the instant film manufacturer for old Polaroids from Europe. With this film and an old Polaroid camera, you can conjure up wonderful black and white images.
The PX 600 CS Cool is intended for Polaroid 600 cameras, but can also be used in Polaroid SX-70s with the help of an ND filter.
The unopened box should be stored at five to ten degrees. It should not be frozen in the freezer.
The PX 600 Silver Shade Cool should be covered immediately after shooting to protect it from light. One pack contains eight pictures. The battery for the camera and flash is already installed in the film pack and provides juice for both.
Update
This film is no longer in production. The most current black and white film is currently the Polaroid B&W Film for 600*.
