The Impossible B&W Film for 600 Eley Kishimoto Edition is an instant film. It was presented by Impossible in March 2017.
The black and white film for instant cameras is the result of a collaboration with Eley Kishimoto. Eley Kishimoto is a design and fashion company based in London, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1992 by Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto.
Among other things, it is known for a psychedelic-looking design made of lightning bolts. This black and white pattern has now also been used for this Impossible Edition. It adorns the box and the frames around the actual images.
The Impossible B&W Film for 600 Eley Kishimoto instant film can be used in all Polaroid 600 series cameras. However, it can also be exposed in the Impossible Instant Lab and Impossible I-Type cameras.
Use in one of the foldable Polaroid SX-70 cameras or box cameras for the SX-70 format is possible by using an ND filter. This lowers the film speed and allows a correct exposure. The advantage of this is that, unlike a Polaroid 600 camera, you can use a larger aperture and get a nice depth of field.
The development for a black and white image takes five to ten minutes. As with the other Impossible instant films for the 600 format, one cassette of the film contains eight images.
