The Polaroid One Step (rounded corners) is an instant camera for the Polaroid 600 format. It should not be confused with the Polaroid OneStep, which is a camera for the SX-70 format.
The design is very similar to the Polaroid One Step Flash. The instant camera comes with a fixed lens, where the focus is fixed. For close-up shots, there is a close-up lens that slides in front of the normal lens.
The exposure, aperture and shutter speed, are selected by the camera itself. It can be influenced somewhat with the bright/dark slider. In the upper right corner is the built-in flash. The big difference is the somewhat rounded design of the plastic housing.
The Polaroid One Step is designed for the Polaroid 600 format. Polaroid has stopped the production of instant films.
In the meantime, there are the matching films again from The Impossible Project (Polaroid Originals). For black and white and color shots, Impossible has the Polaroid B&W Film for 600* and the Polaroid Color Film for 600*.
There are eight pictures in a pack, compared to ten in the past. Since the image counter of the Polaroid One Step is designed for 10 images, you should make sure that already at the small “2” is the end.
The battery for the camera and the flash is in the film pack. So if you buy a new pack of film, you get a new battery.
