The Impossible B&W Film for 600 is an instant film. With it you can take black and white pictures. They are surrounded by a white frame. It is the newest black and white film from Impossible and is advertised as having high detail resolution and high contrast.
Impossible B&W Film for 600 is designed for the Type 600 instant format. The Type 600 format was introduced by Polaroid in 1981. Polaroid has ended the production of Type 600 films. The size of a picture is 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The shooting area is 7.9 x 7.9 cm.
The film speed of the Impossible B&W Film for 600 is ISO 600.
You can use the Impossible B&W Film for 600 in all Polaroid 600 instant cameras. It is also suitable for the Impossible Instant Lab and the Impossible I-Type cameras. Exposure in the SX-70 models is also possible. This requires an ND filter to lower the film speed.
The development time of an image is between five and ten minutes. For best results, shoot at 14-28 degrees. Heat and cold can affect the results.
The instant pictures are in a special film cassette. One cassette of instant film is enough for eight pictures. The cassette with the pictures goes into the camera. After eight pictures, cassette is taken on the camera. In addition to the pictures, the cassette also contains a battery. It supplies power to the Polaroid camera and, if necessary, the flash.
The unopened film should be stored at 5-10 degrees. So you get good results with the material even after the expiration date.
New generation
In the meantime, the film was discontinued. As a replacement for the Polaroid 600 format, there is now the Polaroid B&W Film for 600*. This film is based on the latest research and provides the best results.
