The Rollei Retro 100 is a black and white film. It is identical to the Agfa APX 100 and was produced by Agfa for Rollei before the bankruptcy in Leverkusen. Therefore it has the same characteristics as the APX 100. It produces solid black and white images with good sharpness and moderate grain.
It was made up in two formats, for 35mm and medium format cameras. The 35mm film was also available by the meter. However, supplies of medium format film did not last as long as those of 35mm film.
The Rollei Retro 100 should not be confused with the similar sounding Rollei Retro 100 Tonal. The Tonal is a completely different film.

All sample photos were developed in Rodinal at a mixing ratio of 1+50 and at 20 degrees for 14 minutes.
