The exposure is measured through the lens of the 35 mm camera (TTL). The aperture and exposure time are set automatically by the camera if desired. The desired exposure time as well as the f-stop can also be set by the user.
The camera has a bulb mode. The shutter remains open as desired. The shortest regular shutter speed is 1/2000 second.

The camera weighs 350 grams and measures 14.5 x 9.2 x 6.1 cm. A tripod thread is located on the underside of the EOS.
The power supply is provided by two CR123A batteries (eBay / Amazon*), which can be purchased regularly.
Films for the Canon EOS Rebel XS N
Exposed in the Canon EOS Rebel XS N are 35mm films. These films are still in production and can be quoted at almost every supplier of development work. One possibility for b/w pictures is AgfaPhoto APX 400*, a possible film for color pictures is Kodak Portra 400*.
Colour negative film is developed in the C-41 development process. This development process is available at almost every photo lab. The big drugstore chains in Germany offer the development of color films.
The exposure area of the Canon EOS Rebel XS N has a size of 24 mm x 36 mm. With the size of the exposure range, 36 photos usually fit on a normal film (135-36).
