The lens of the 35mm camera is fixed. The name of the manufacturer for the lens is “Prinz Autocell 1:2.8 F=40MM”. The focal length is 40mm and the maximum aperture is f/2.8. Focusing the lens has to be done by hand. The camera has no autofocus function. The closest focusing distance is 80 cm.

The Prinz Saturn 35 Auto has a built-in light meter. This is designed for an ISO range from 25 to 400. The aperture can be freely selected.

An external flash light can be connected to the PC flash port or Hot Shoe for pictures. The 35mm photo camera has a connector for a cable release. There is also a thread for a tripod.

The camera requires a 1.35v PX625 mercury cell. Alternatively a V625U cell (eBay / Amazon*) can be used. Even better is probably the WeinCell replacement battery for PX625 (eBay / Amazon*).
