The Impossible B&W Film for 600 Hard Color is an instant film. With it you can take black and white pictures. The frames on this edition are not white, but different colors.
The Impossible B&W Film for 600 Hard Color is designed for the Polaroid 600 cameras. The format was introduced by Polaroid in the 80s. It is the successor format of the SX-70 format. No more films are produced by Polaroid for this instant format.
The dimensions of an Impossible picture are 8.8 x 10.7 cm. The image surrounded by a frame is 7.9 x 7.9 cm. The film speed of the Impossible B&W Film for 600 Hard Color is ISO 600.
The black and white film can be exposed in all Polaroid 600 instant cameras. The instant film can also be used with the Impossible Instant Lab and Impossible I-Type cameras. Additionally, it can be exposed in the Polaroid SX-70 cameras. For this you need an ND filter, otherwise the sensitivity is too high. The advantage of this is that, unlike a Polaroid 600 camera, you can use a larger aperture and get a nice depth of field.
The development for a black and white picture takes five to ten minutes. For best results, shoot at 14-28 degrees. Cold and heat can affect the results.
The individual images are in a film cassette. The cassette is placed in the camera as a whole. If the frame counter shows two, the cassette must be replaced.
The film cassette also contains a battery. It supplies power to the camera and flash.
One pack of Impossible B&W Film for 600 Hard Color is enough for eight pictures. It should be stored in a cool, dry place.
