Using expired film

If you can still find a roll of color film today, it is likely that the film has already expired. In such cases, it is advisable to adjust the exposure settings to a lower ISO to avoid underexposure of the photos. Availability and alternatives

The Super GBR 400 was available for 35mm format. At a size of 24 x 36 mm per frame, a roll typically held 36 frames. The film cartridge of the 35mm film was equipped with a DX code, which allowed some cameras to automatically adjust the film speed.

Manufacturers like Zorki, Rollei or Lomography offer suitable cameras for the 35mm format. However, there are other cameras that are suitable for use with 35mm film.

Unfortunately, the Super GBR 400 is no longer produced, so fresh film material is no longer available. As an alternative in the 35mm range, you can use the Kodak Ultramax 400*.
