The Lomo’Instant was funded by Lomography on Kickstarter in May 2014. Backers were able to pre-order this version exclusively through the crowdfunding platform. This edition never went on regular sale.
In terms of functionality, the camera is identical to the other editions of the instant camera. AAA batteries and film are needed for operation. The camera is designed for the Instax Mini format. For color pictures, there is the Instax Mini Film* from Fujifilm. If you want to take black and white photos, you can buy the Instax Mini Monochrome*.
