Fujifilm Instax Mini Stone Gray

The Fujifilm Instax Mini Stone Gray is an instant film. It is a special edition of the Instax Mini Film*. The film is produced by Fujifilm in a factory in its native Asian country of Japan.

The instant film is designed for the Instax Mini format. The size of a picture is about the same as a credit card. 62 x 46 mm is taken up by the actual image on the surface of the instant film. The rest is filled by the frame. It is currently the smallest instant format on the market.

In this edition, the frame is not simply white. The images in this edition have a gray stone look design. This edition of the color film has no other special features.

Shortly after the shutter is released, the camera ejects the image and development begins. As if out of nowhere, the image appears within a few minutes. No further steps are required. Shaking the image to speed up the development process is not necessary.

Film format

The Fujifilm Instax Mini Stone Gray can be used with the cameras in the Fujifilm Instax Mini family. It can also be used with Lomography and Leica instant cameras for this same film format. You cannot use the color film with the old Polaroid cameras.

One pack of the film contains a cassette with ten instant pictures. The unexposed pictures are sensitive to light. Therefore, under no circumstances should they come into contact with light before being photographed. Opening the camera before all ten pictures have been taken should be avoided at all costs.

Unlike Polaroid film, there is no battery in the film cassette. Therefore, once you have removed the cassette from the camera, you can simply throw the plastic cassette into the yellow bag and do not have to remove a battery first.
