Fujifilm Instax Mini Heart Sketch

The Fujifilm Instax Mini Heart Sketch is an instant film. It is one of the many edition of Fujifilm Instax Mini film. The production of the film is done by Fujifilm in Japan. The edition was introduced to the public in 2023.

The instant film is designed for the Instax Mini format and takes color pictures. The size of an image is comparable to that of a business card. The area on which the captured image is located is slightly smaller (62 x 46 mm) and is surrounded by a frame. There are ten pictures in one film cassette.

In this edition, the frames around the pictures are not white, but printed with hearts. So this film edition is perfect as a gift for Valentine’s Day. It also cuts a fine figure at a wedding, for example as an addition to the guest book, or even on a romantic vacation.

After the picture is taken, the camera ejects the image, spreading the development chemistry over the image. As if out of nowhere, the image then appears within minutes. Shaking the instant image does not speed up development. No further steps after development are necessary.

Film format

To use this instant film, it is recommended to use a camera from the Fujifilm Instax Mini series. These instant cameras are also still in new production.

A use with the Lomography cameras for the film format is also possible. Also, the edition can be used in smartphone printers for the Instax Mini format or the Leica Sofort. The instant film cannot be used in the old Polaroid cameras.
