The Fujifilm Instax Mini Butter is an instant film. It is a special edition of the Instax Mini Film*. The film material is manufactured by Fujifilm in Japan.
This edition was created with the Korean band BTS. Butter is a song released in 2021 by the boy band. It made it to number 6 in the German singles charts.
In addition to the film edition, there is also an instant camera in collaboration with BTS, the Fujifilm Instax Mini 11 BTS Butter Edition.
The instant film is designed for the Instax Mini format. The size of a picture is about the same as a credit card. The shooting area is 62 x 46 mm and is surrounded by a frame. The frame on this edition is printed with BTS motifs.
The development of the instant picture starts after the cameras have ejected the picture. Within a very short time, the image is then developed.
Film format
The film can be used with all instant cameras for the Instax Mini format from Fujifilm. This includes something the Instax Mini 11, Instax Mini 9 and Instax Mini 90. Also, the film can be used in the Instax printers. So you can bring your digital pictures on instant film. The film can also be used with the Leica Sofort or the Lomo’Instant from Lomography.
After ten pictures, the film cassette containing the unexposed pictures is empty. Before you have taken all the pictures, you must never open the camera. The film material is very sensitive to light and would become unusable if exposed to too much light.
You cannot use the film in the old Polaroid cameras. Here you have to use the real Polaroid films.
If you prefer to take black and white pictures, you can use the Instax Mini Monochrome*. However, there is no special edition of the black-and-white film with BTS.
