This lens connector was first introduced in 1959. Unlike other manufacturers, the bayonet was not changed with the introduction of autofocus.

For photographing, the Nikon F2 Photomic an exposure meter. It is designed for an ISO range of 8 to 6400. Exposure is determined by SLR when measured through the lens (TTL). The aperture and shutter speed are freely adjustable.

The 35mm camera has a bulb mode. In this mode, the shutter will open as long as the shutter release button is pressed. An external flash unit can be connected to the PC flash socket. The Nikon F2 Photomic can be mounted on a tripod. A thread for a cable release is also available. In addition, there is a self-timer.

Films for the Nikon F2 Photomic

The color film is designed for development in the C-41 process. This is offered by almost every photo lab.
