The Canon EOS 600 is a single lens reflex camera. The 35mm camera was produced by Canon for the European market and introduced in 1989. The camera was sold on the American market under the name "Canon EOS 630". The EOS 630 QD was sold in Japan and comes with a data backplate for exposing the date of the shot.
The lens of the Canon EOS 600 is interchangeable. Therefore an EF bayonet was built into the camera. In many cases the camera comes with the Canon EF 35-70mm f/3.5-4.5A. The camera is equipped with an autofocus.
For measuring the exposure the Canon EOS 600 has an exposure meter. It can be used with films from ISO 6 to ISO 6400. The correct sensitivity is determined by the DX code on the film cartridge. The correct exposure is measured through the lens of the SLR camera. The Canon EOS 600 can automatically set the aperture and exposure time. The aperture and exposure time are freely adjustable in manual mode.
The 35mm camera comes with a bulb setting option. An external flash unit can be used with the 35 mm camera via hot shoe. The Canon EOS 600 has a thread for a tripod and a self-timer.

Films for the Canon EOS 600
According to the manual, the Canon EOS 600 is designed for the 35mm format. 35mm films are still produced today and are quite easy to get. A nice film for color pictures is Kodak Ultramax 400* and for black and white pictures AgfaPhoto APX 400*, both films are perfect for holiday pictures. They are flexible in use and deliver solid results.
The color film is developed in the C-41 process. The C-41 films are offered by most photo labs.
