The BKIFI Confetti Film is a color negative film that is commercially available under the “BKIFI” brand from the U.S. provider “Brooklyn Instant Film Initiative” and is manufactured by an external company.
The BKIFI Confetti film can be used to capture stories and moments in color images. The ISO sensitivity of 400 is specified in the data sheet. The film allows for perfect snapshots in most situations.
In the case of the photo film, it is an effect film characterized by its pre-exposure with confetti and includes these stylized symbols in the following images.
Development of the film
The C-41 process is used to develop the full film, which is processed in most laboratories in Germany. The development is carried out according to the standardized C-41 color negative process, and as a result the captured images are obtained in the form of film strips.
Digitization of analog film strips is a common option to obtain images in digital form. There are various scanners available to digitize negatives that offer different features and quality depending on the budget. The digitized photos can then be physically printed or shared on social networks like Facebook, Instagram and others.
Formats
It is only possible to use BKIFI Confetti film in 35mm cameras. Each roll of film has room for 36 shots. There are many cameras from well-known manufacturers such as Porst, Pentax and Minolta that are suitable for 35mm format.
Storage
Good storage of analog film stock is critical to ensure long shelf life and quality. Here, the material should be protected from environmental influences such as moisture, heat and sunlight. In addition, a regular inspection of the material should be carried out in order to detect and repair possible damage in good time.
