The Polaroid Originals B&W i-Type film is an instant film. The film is produced by Polaroid Originals in the Netherlands. There is also a color film (Polaroid Color Film for i-Type*) for the film format.
The Polaroid Originals B&W i-Type film is suitable for all i-Type cameras. This film format corresponds in size to the 600 film format of Polaroid and was developed by The Impossible Project. The size of an image is 8.8 x 10.7 cm. On this area the recorded motive (7,9 x 7,9 cm) and the frame are distributed.
When the image leaves the camera, the development of the instant image begins. During the development you can only wait. The development time is five to ten minutes.
Film format
The instant film can be exposed in all cameras for this film format, including the Polaroid Originals OneStep+ and the OneStep 2. Next to the images, there is no battery in the cassette, as it was the case in the past. Therefore, these films cannot be used in the old Polaroid instant cameras. The advantage is, among other things, that they are a little cheaper, most of the times, a package costs approximately 16 euros. Also from an environmental point of view it is better to integrate the battery into the camera.
With one pack, 8 pictures can be taken.
