The Polaroid Teva is an instant camera edition. It was introduced to the public in May 2021 and sold for a price of $160. The edition was created in collaboration with Teva. Teva is a brand of sandals and outdoor shoes.
The basis of the edition is a revamped Polaroid One Step Flash. In terms of design, the black case was left unchanged. The color accents are in a warm gold. Next to the lens is the Teva logo. A matching camera strap is included. In addition to the camera edition, Polaroid sandals were also offered. The sandals bear the Polaroid logo and the rainbow may not be missing in the design.
In terms of features, the Polaroid One Step Flash Edition offers a built-in flash. The exposure settings, aperture and shutter speed, are automatically selected by the camera’s light meter. More than sighting the subject through the viewfinder and pressing the shutter button, you don’t have to do anything with this model.
In general, the instant camera doesn’t offer any other adjustment options besides the bright/dark slider. On the back of the plastic body, there is a counter for the number of pictures still available.
Films for the Polaroid Teva
The Polaroid Teva is designed for the type 600 format. This Polaroid format is one of the most popular instant formats. The pictures with the films are as you would imagine Polaroid pictures to be. The actual picture is square and surrounded by a frame. The bottom part of the frame is slightly thicker than the rest. The frames can also be decorated and written on, depending on the edition.
The instant film is made again for the camera. For color pictures there is the Polaroid Color Film for 600*. Those who like black and white pictures can reach for the Polaroid B&W Film for 600*. In one package there are eight pictures. A battery is also included in the film cassette. The battery powers the instant camera and flash.
Each time the shutter button is pressed, the camera pushes out the image by rolling up the film cassette. At this step, the developing paste is applied to the image and development of the captured image begins. How long the development takes depends on the film selected.
