The Polaroid Spectra Pro is an instant camera for the Image / Spectra film format. On the international market it was sold under the name “Polaroid Image Elite Pro”.
The Polaroid Image Elite Pro comes with a fixed lens. Zooming is not possible. Instead, there are some other setting options and modes. Besides the light/dark control, there is a backlight correction. The exposure time can also be set on demand. The built-in flash provides enough light in the dark.
On the back of the camera is an LCD display for the current settings. It also displays the remaining number of shots.
With the Polaroid Spectra Pro, you can take multiple exposures. There is also a mode for time-lapse photography and a self-timer.
Films & Batteries
Films and batteries are still available for the Polaroid Spectra Pro. The “Impossible” company makes a color and black and white film with the Polaroid Originals Color Film for Image & Spectra* and Polaroid Originals B&W Film for Image & Spectra*.
The captured images are surrounded by a white frame and have a size of 10.1 by 10.3 cm (Actual image area: 9.1 x 7.2 cm). One pack is enough for eight shots. The battery for the power supply is located in the film cassette.
