The Polaroid 600 – MTV Stereo is an instant camera. The edition was introduced in 2019 by Polaroid Originals and Retrospect. It is a refurbished version of the Polaroid One Step Flash.
MTV, short for Music Television, is a music television station founded in the 1980s. With the words “Ladies and gentlemen, rock and roll”, it was launched in the USA on August 1, 1981. In the following years, he influenced many young people. Later on, a branch in Germany followed. Today, both MTV Germany and the original have lost their significance, if only because of the constant availability of music and music videos through Youtube, Spotify and Co.
The camera comes with a fixed lens. The focal length can not be changed and is 116 mm (?). The largest aperture is f/11 (?). There is no possibility to change the focus.
The Polaroid 600 – MTV Stereo has a built-in light meter. The exposure settings are automatically adjusted by the camera. There is a built-in flash for taking pictures in low light. A battery in the film pack provides power.

The Polaroid 600 – MTV Stereo is designed for the 600 format according to the user manual. Films for this format are produced by Polaroid Originals. Instant films are available for colour and black and white images. You can use the Polaroid Color Film for 600* and the Polaroid B&W Film for 600*.
