The Lomo’Instant Square Ginza Edition is a camera from Lomography. It is a special edition of the Instant Square camera introduced in 2017. The housing of the camera is white and partly covered with brown leather. The basic functions are identical with the other models.
The camera comes with a fixed focal length that can be folded for transport. The focal length of the lens is 95 mm. The maximum aperture is f/10 and there is no autofocus function on the Lomo’Instant Square Ginza Edition. On the left side is a lever with three distance settings. The closest focusing distance of the lens is 80 cm. If desired, lens attachments can be used with the camera.
The instant camera has a built-in meter for measuring the correct exposure. The exposure is set automatically by the camera. There is an exposure compensation. This can be switched on by two buttons on the back.
The camera selects the shutter speed itself, but there is also a bulb setting option. The shutter can remain open for a variable time and expose the film.
There is a built-in flash for taking pictures in low light conditions. 9 meters is the specified range at ISO 100 sensitivity. The Lomo’Instant Square Ginza Edition has a thread for a tripod and a self-timer. There is also a wireless shutter release.
The power for the camera comes from two CR2 batteries (eBay / Amazon*) and one CR2025 battery is needed for the remote control.

Which films are required for the Lomo’Instant Square Ginza Edition? You need to buy Instax Square films for the camera. The Instant Square format was introduced in 2017 by the Japanese manufacturer Fuji.
Each image of Instax Square Film* has a size of 8.6 by 7.2 cm. The actual image is square and measures 6.2 by 6.2 cm. There are ten pictures in one package. The white frame around the pictures is writable.
After taking the pictures, the picture is automatically ejected by a motor. You do not have to shake the picture. Within a few minutes the picture is completely developed.
