The La Sardina – Splendour is a special edition of the La Sardina from Lomography. It was introduced in April 2012 by the company from Vienna. The Splendour is already the 17th special edition of the wide-angle camera.

It comes in a classic retro style of gray and black. The camera’s housing is made of metal. The design is somewhat similar to the grandfather of the plastic camera, the Condor Candid from the Irwin Corporation from 1930. Splendour is English and means something like splendor, splendor, splendor, brilliance.

Although this La Sardina is made of metal, it has the familiar 22 mm plastic lens. The model is also equipped with the MX switch, Bulb mode and connection for Fritz The Blitz.

The scope of delivery includes the camera, a lens cap and the normal La Sardina book as well as Fritz the Blitz, color filters for the flash and the book “Caviar Diaries” from the La Sardina Metal Edition. The flash is powered by a CR 123A battery (eBay / Amazon*).
