La Sardina – Möbius was presented together with La Sardina – Domino, La Sardina – Cubic and La Sardina – Quadrat.
The Pattern Edition was released one week after the Metal Edition (Czar and Beluga). It has a white frame, purple waves on the front and the same pattern in yellow on the back. This edition has the same feature set as the other La Sardinas.
The La Sardina – Möbius has a super wide angle with a focal length of 22 mm made of plastic. The MX switch allows easy multiple exposure and the Bulb mode long exposure. The camera also has a connection for a remote shutter release and for a tripod.
Furthermore, this Special Edition includes a matching Photo Accordion! This stylish Leporello comes in the design of the Möbius.
Suitable films for La Sardina – Möbius
The La Sardina – Möbius is a camera that was specially designed for 35mm films. Despite the advance of digitization, 35mm film is still being produced and can be easily processed by most external photo labs.
If you want to take color pictures with this camera, we recommend Kodak Gold 200* film. Ilford HP5* film is recommended for black and white shots. Of course, you can also use films from other manufacturers with the camera. There are also 35mm films from Foma, Rollei, Adox, Fujifilm and Lomography.
The color film is developed in the C-41 process, which almost all photo laboratories can carry out. The B/W film can be developed either in a photo lab or at home. You can find numerous development guides on the internet. In the long run, home development is usually more cost-effective than professional development in a photo lab.
