The Impossible Color for 600 Lucky 8 Edition is an instant film. This version of the Impossible Color for 600 film was introduced in December 2015.
The frame of the images in this edition is red, except for one image with a gold border.
The name of the edition “Lucky 8 / Lucky Eight” is taken from Chinese culture. There, the number, like 0, 6 and 9, has a positive meaning, as word 8 sounds similar to wealth.
The instant film can be used in any Polaroid 600 camera and the Instant Lab from Impossible. Use in Polaroid SX-70 camera is possible with an additional ND filter to lower the sensitivity.
According to the manufacturer, the development time is about 20 to 30 minutes. Eight shots are included in one pack.
Alternative
The most current color film for Polaroid 600 cameras is the Polaroid Color Film for 600*. There is no edition with the same design of the frames until now, as of 2021.
