The Impossible Color Film for 600 Color Hot Pink Edition is an instant film. It is a special edition of the normal color film from Impossible. The production of the film has been terminated.
The dimensions of a picture taken with the color film are 8.6 x 5.4 cm. The dimensions of the captured image are 7.9 x 7.9 cm. ISO 600 is the film speed of the instant film. The frames around the pictures are pink and not white on this edition.
You can use the Impossible Color Film for 600 Color Hot Pink Edition in all Polaroid 600 instant cameras. It is also compatible with the Impossible Instant Lab and the Impossible I-Type cameras. Additionally it can be exposed in the Polaroid SX-70 cameras. For this you need an ND filter, otherwise the sensitivity is too high.
About two minutes after taking the picture, you can see the first outlines of the captured image. Optimal results are obtained at an ambient temperature of 14-28 degrees. Heat and cold can affect the results.
The individual images are stored in a film cassette. The cassette is placed in the camera as a whole. If the frame counter shows “2”, a film change is due. In addition to the pictures, the cassette also contains a battery. It supplies the instant camera and, if necessary, the flash with power.
Eight shots can be taken with one pack of Impossible Color Film for 600 Color Hot Pink Edition. For storage, you should prefer a cool and dry place.
Alternatives for the film
The film is no longer offered. There is no direct replacement. To take pictures with a 600 instant camera, you can reach for the Polaroid Color Film for 600*. It is the latest color film from the manufacturer in the Netherlands. The material has been marketed under the original brand name again since 2020.
