The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 is an instant camera. It was introduced by Fujifilm in 2015 and is designed for the Instax Mini film format.
The Fujifilm Instax Mini 70 comes with seven shooting modes. These include a mode for selfies, hi-key, macro, landscape, and a mode for shooting with fill flash. There is also a selfie mode (either one or two frames) and an auto mode.
Like most instant cameras, the Instax Mini 70 does not offer the ability to manually control exposure by adjusting shutter speed and aperture. Focusing is in 3 steps, depending on the selected mode, 0.3 to 0.6 m (macro mode), 0.6 to 3 m (normal mode), 3 m to infinity (landscape mode).
Enough light is provided by the built-in flash, which has a range of 0.3 to 2.7 meters.
The camera is powered by two 3 V lithium CR2 batteries (eBay / Amazon*). According to the manufacturer, these should be enough for 400 instant pictures, or 40 packs of film.
There is a color film, the Instax Mini Film*, for color pictures with the camera. Those who are more into monochrome black and white images can buy the Instax Mini Monochrome*. Depending on the package, you get a certain number of film cassettes.
The film cassette is made of plastic and in it are the unexposed pictures. It is packed individually and the film material is protected by a plastic layer. When the film is inserted into the camera, this protection is removed and photography can begin. From this point on, the back of the camera must not be opened.
The Instax Mini 70 has a tripod thread.
The Instax Mini 70 is available in five versions in white, blue, gold, red and yellow.
The package includes the camera, a wrist strap, instructions, two batteries and two rings for attaching a camera strap.
